Amped Instrument Library
Instruments should be played, not left sitting in cupboards.
The Amped Instrument Library helps people in Berwick and the surrounding area access musical instruments without the cost of buying their own.
Our growing collection includes guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, brass, woodwind and other musical equipment donated by musicians, families, schools and supporters from across the community.
Whether you're just getting started, returning to music, trying something new or need an instrument to keep progressing, the library is here to help.

Amped will check availability and contact you with the next steps.
4. Collect your instrument
Approved loans will normally be made available for collection through Berwick Library.
5. Play!
Take the instrument home, look after it and make some music.

Schools & Community Groups
We also support schools, youth organisations and community groups that need access to instruments or equipment.
If you're looking to borrow multiple instruments or discuss a longer-term community loan, please contact us directly.
Help us grow the library
The Instrument Library has been built through the generosity of the local community.
If you have a playable instrument or useful piece of music equipment that is no longer being used, we'd love to hear from you.
The Amped Instrument Library is operated by Amped Berwick CIC as part of our work to remove barriers to music-making and create more opportunities for people to learn, create, perform and connect.
